Presonus 1824c DC Couple outputs

I’m using Audio 8 with a Presonus 1824c for passing CV signals to a Behringer 2600. What I am finding is that I get multiple signals (i.e., pitch and lfo) coming out the same output even though Audio 8 is sending them to different outputs. Even weirder, I can get the output from the Presonus on a channel different than any used in Audio 8. I can’t tell if this is an Audio 8 problem or a Presonus problem. I just want CV out on channel X to pass through the Presonus on channel X, and Channel Y CV to come out channel Y and so on, which I believe is how it should work.

I’m not a Presonus user but that sounds to me as though there might be a separate mixer application that sits after the driver and routes the software outputs to the hardware outputs (e.g. RME TotalMix, UAD Console). On a quick look at the (not very informative) manual, it looks like the Presonus version might be called UC Surface?

Universal Control is great if you have a studiolive mixer, which I don’t. With the presonus, it is minimal and offers no control of routing of signals.

I thought making stereo pairs in the mixer was the problem but it is not.

Thanks.

Got it. Huh. What happens if you address the same outputs in a DAW with multichannel outs, like (say) Reaper? Do you get the same mixed outputs and reassignments?

Dont know about the 1824c - but I enable “mixer bypass” in Universal Control for VCV Rack use on my Presonus Studio 192.

I will have to try that since Reaper is what I use. Thanks.
