Possible Bug in Host Module

Using VCV 2.5.2 in Windows 11, Host module 2.0.4. (Entire system just updated due to last week’s hard drive crash.)

The Host module is playing polyphonically, even though it’s only being sent one gate and CV. This behavior occurs whether I use the MIDI>CV input from my hardware keyboard or the Bogaudio ADDR sequencer. I’ve set each of those devices to monophonic operation, but the plugin VST still plays polyphonically. It will sometimes trigger new notes on receiving a key-up (gate 0.0). Also, I get the same result with different VST synths, so I’m pretty sure the problem is not at that end.

Is this a bug I should report, or is there something about my setup that’s causing weird behavior?

I had/have the same but only with VST3 not with vst2(dll).

By golly, you’re right. I just checked with a couple of recently installed vst2 plugins, and they function correctly. I’ll report this as a bug.
