Polyphony to Mono splitting and combining questions

I’m new to VCV.

If I want to either send polyphonic midi in (e.g. play chords), or use a polyphonic sequencer (e.g. NoteSeq16), with monophonic oscillators, how do I

1.) turn the single polyphonic output of NoteSeq16 to multiple monophonic v/octs and gates which I can send to individual monophonic oscillators?

2.) If I have a polyphonic signal, how can I e.g. mix it to a single monophonic signal?
