I keep coming across situations where I need a a gate or trigger when there is a change in voltage. The only way I’ve found is to put it into Quantum and enable all the notes (assuming I don’t know the scale/notes) so I can use the gate/trigger output.
Surely there is a more universal way of doing this though?
A comparator will do it. You just need to have a momentary delay and compare the current voltage with the delayed voltage.
^ this. Just pass the signal through a mult to delay by one sample.
I can’t get a comparator to work. If I set the threshold to 1v then 1.10 to 1.02 makes no gate, same with changes below the threshold. Am I missing something?
