Interesting. What platform are you running? With just cursory testing it is working fine for me on Windows running VCV 2.6.6
Yeah it unfortunately crashes on Mac ARM when placed in a patch.
Strange, worked fine for me on Mac ARM.
Not sure I’d use it as a general purpose multi-effect, although I guess you could use it in a subtle way if you wanted. It’s a lot of fun though, and great for making more unusual, swooping, modulated delay/flanger effects. I like it a lot.
Haven’t tried this yet, but would probably be great combined with Iroi for wild drones/sound fx.

Silly me. It turns out I had the standalone running at 96khz sample rate instead of Auto (was testing something the other day). But the rest of the Nano Modules run fine at 96khz sample rate. Fum works at 44.1khz, 48khz on my system.
That is still a bug in my book. Did VCV say whether they will try to fix FUM to work with all sample rates?
It’s actually Jorge from Nano who ported it as far as I can tell as he is the author email recipient and I have also reported the crash to him. I should add the 96kHz sample rate issue as that is what I run at, hadn’t thought of turning it down as the stack was not showing anything that made me think it might be.
VCV referred me to Jorge. I already emailed him to let him know.
Jorge reports it is fixed and awaits Library release.
Im suprised my post got so much attention. its ok i will probably build one myself. it may not be everyones cup of tee but what about only 10 people chimed in that leaves thousands more who might want it

Yep can’t have too many effects, and why not multi-effects too? As long as we can modulate everything, it’s all good.
Just occurred to me that Iroi is technically a multi-fx too - delay, reverb, filter and resonator.
Sticking Fum and Iroi together is carnage, allow me to spam a video!
