Hi Peter, in fact it’s a very specific needs, if I understand fine, Karl needs a clocking module who send phase (or something similar), but frequency related to V/Oct CV (scheme 0V = 120BPM, -1V = 60BPM, -2V = 30BPM, +1V = 240BPM, and so on). In general BPM based on V/Oct is used - as input - for slave clock module, not to control the frequency of the output…
Yes, but the other outputs are not related so one is 44Bpm two is 46Bpm three is 147Bpm etc ?!
And when he changes one f.i. the 44Bpm the others will stay the same.?!
yes this is correct.
for the moment I use the phase generator from hettrick to send clocks and phasers. for example: my patch runs with 120BPM. now only one step from 16 of the sequencer should run with 60BPM. therefore I can send a 1v/Oct to the frequency input of the phasorgenerator.
that works well. i can create step length in a wide area. and always synced with the main phasor.
but I came to this clock generator, because from one master clock I have outputs with different frequencies. very good, but unfortunately not calibrated to v/Oct.
and I can output phasors. also very good.
with hettricks I have to use two generators. and both must be synced. that seems a problem. they go out of sync after a while.
Out of sync is due to Rack’s Engine precision (the engine works as single precision float number, for decimal value), so it’s not problematic at 44100Hz, but drifts may occurs from 48000kHz (and above). Also, ton of other conditions may affect clocking precision, such how the AUDIOx output module is configured, audio driver quality / mode, perhaps platform/OS (I’m using a Windows 10 PC, don’t have Mac / Linux machines to compare).
thank you. yes I know that. but what I want to describe is the following:
it is better to use one clock/phasor generator with multiple outputs then two generators with only one output each.
You’re welcome, Sir!
For the born of a new YouTube channel, entirely dedicated to Ohmer Modules (both free Open Source, and commercial OhmerPrems plugins), I’ve made a French-spoken 1h+ video, about KlokSpid MkII module presentation (this module is free for everyone). 2-hour English-spoken video is now available (from (EN) English-spoken videos… playlist).

Hello,
From OhmerPrems’ GitHub page, you’ll can download the v2.6.10 “Alpha” version of the OhmerPrems plugin, for all platforms.
This “Alpha” (pre-version) includes:
- Updated KlokSpid MkII module: have added BPM-CV option for any output, as “Modifier”.
- Some C++ code optimizations on all modules included in the plugin.
(Work-In-Progress) 6OP-DX, a 117HP (
) 6-operator algorithm-based FM (phase-modulation) synthesizer module (
the module doesn’t output any audio at the moment, all of my stuff is actually focused on the synthesizer parameters and UI features such OSD operations/menus/dialog boxes, prior PM/audio engines implementation). This module is using DX7 parameters, and it supports DX7’s SysEx files (either 32-voice VMEM bank and single-voice VCED Sysem Exclusives), either on file importation (with automatic file format detection & checksum/data integrity checks), and exportation.
Hello,
For non-French people here, I’ve added today an (1h58
) English-spoken video, as KlokSpid MkII module presentation.
From the home of the channel, all English videos are located inside
(EN) English-spoken videos playlist.
OhmerPrems v2.6.10 Pre-Release “Nightly Build” 2026.02.10 is available.
What’s new/updated (Feb. 10th - 11:30PM GMT+1/France).
Stuff described below concerns KlokSpid MkII module only:
- BPM-CV (output’s Modifier) doesn’t work when module is slave → FIXED.
- BPM-CV (output’s Modifier) now only output’s Quantizer can alter the output voltage (waveform mod., Amplitude, V-Offset and Phase Shift menu entries are disabled).
- Module’s logic now is using internal frequency (instead of BPM tempo) to establish the BPM-CV (as output’s Modifier) voltage-equivalent, for optimal precision, in particular at very low module’s frequency (near 0.02Hz ~ 0.1Hz). → DONE.
- Some “cosmetic” fixes on main touchscreen, and display below continuous encoder.
- Displayable (and selectable) BPM limit now was increased to 960 (instead of 900 in previous release) - Above 960BPM, the module displays switches to frequency in Hz (from 16.1Hz upto max. 500Hz), instead.
- Fixed a potential issue when you reduce BPM very quickly by holding the left Shift key (no more go to negative BPM value!), have added a guard.
- Fixed CV8 displayed as “pill” - by error - for output(s) who are using BPM-CV as output’s Modifier, from View CV Assign. Matrix grid.
- BPM-CV output voltage can be quantized (the lone possible voltage alteration) behind computation. It’s of course, optional, depending your needs!
hello Dominique,
as i wrote to you a while ago, I want to modulate the tilt parameter for creating a switch between ramp up and down, which means forward and backwards.
but I detected a strange behaviour from KlokSpid mkll.
if I switch the ramp via CV in with +5V /-5V the phasor on output runs crazy and only after a while it sends the correct phasor. sometimes more then two seconds.
is this intented by design or a bug?
or should I switch the ramps external via a 2-way switch between two outputs from KlokSpid mkll of ramp up and ramp down?
Regards
Karl
Hi Karl, I’ll see the problem but later, ATM I’m too busy about pots migration on 6OP-DX.
Ramp Down → Ramp Up by modulating “Tilt only. I don’t have noticed a “phasor issue”, but I’m must investigate deeply, later (next weekend).
Thanks for your understanding.
Surely.
not important.
good luck👍
About “huge stuff” on 6OP-DX pots entire rework (near from scratch), can you imagine, my Friend, I’ve worked during full night, until 8:30 lastest morning (was gone to bed for 3 hours only)…
About KlokSpid MkII, in case I’ll forget (after next weekend) please don’t hesitate to remember me! TIA.
don’t overdo!
think of your health.

Hello there!
Lastest stable version v2.6.8 is available for all platforms, for manual installation. Will be available from VCV Library shortly.
This release doesn’t include 6OP-DX module (W.I.P. at the moment, no sound bla bla).
Available from GitHub : https://github.com/DomiKamu/OhmerPrems/releases/tag/v2.6.8
Changelog is here…
OhmerPrems member only: since v2.6.7, OhmerPrems plugin uses the new license V2. If not yet installed, please check your mailbox, follow instructions, and of course… keep the email preciously!
(license file is sent once). By using v2.6.7 or higher, optionally you’ll can locate and delete old “OhmerPrems**.lic**“ keyfile (.lic is useless).
However, KlokSpid MkII, its KX left-side expander, and KordZ modules don’t require any license keyfile. These modules are free for everyone, all features are enabled (no limitation or restriction).
Hummm… but what is this devilry? (reply from 1993 French comedy “Les Visiteurs”).
In French language : mais qu’est-ce donc cette diablerie ? ![]()
(Updated screen capture / capture d’écran mise à jour)
This is the skeleton (perhaps 2 or 4 buttons are missing at the moment) of 80HP module, named FranKe - in the state of mind of FroeZe module. 80HP for FranKe is the same wide than FroeZe module + its FroeZe-X right-side expander. ![]()
Working on it during “pauses” on 6OP-DX development sessions, this module is requested by an OhmerPrems member (specific features), he hope to grab it (as entirely finished) for May or June, perhaps it will be available… end of March!
That’s a great user experience. What a great idea. I was thinking about seeing if I could build something similar to …
Or…
Seems pretty do-able?
Hi Bret, really I don’t know, if you tell by using mouse, surely possible by drag methods on widgets, arent? (I mean about Nintendo DS touchscreen emulation).
It’s a kind of electronic tuner? (second video). Nope, please forget, the second video is from “The Last of Us Part 2” videogame, as kind of mini game (many months I’ve finished the campaign). However, I don’t know how you can read joystick/buttons from VCV Rack (of course, MIDI→CV module permits to do “modulations” via a joystick, but I never tested this feature. Also not sure the buttons are handled by MIDI→CV module.
