NullPath

completely fair question as i’ve been pretty quiet here lately lol. at the moment, i believe the plugin is in a state where we’re pretty much ready to release it, and we’re basically just waiting on some panel changes for one of the modules. @Patheros is a busy guy and has also been working on other plugins, so i’ve just been giving him the time and space to get around to it when he can. as soon as we’re releasing them to the library, i’ll post an update here. thanks for the interest!

ok! i’ve officially submitted the plugin for release to the library. barring any issues that may arise between now and then, it should hopefully be integrated soon! :crossed_fingers:

so, just coming back to this point real quick while we’re waiting for the initial release to the library. i do still eventually hope to add the ability to Entangle to limit the number of inputs/outputs being “entangled” - eventually. but for now, as it turns out, it’s just too much work that i don’t really have the time or patience for right now, and we really wanted to get the plugin released to the library sooner rather than much much later lol. so for now, Entangle will continue to always assume that all 9 inputs and outputs are connected, and will re-route them all as such. sorry to anyone who was hoping for this change. we made the decision towards the beginning of its development mostly because it was, quite simply, just easier to implement. no other reason, really.

Thank you for letting me know. Plugin development is indeed laborious and I’m grateful for entangle the way it is.

so, quick update - it’s been a little bit, and the plugin’s still awaiting review, but that’s probably good now because i just found a bug with Turbulence’s polyphony. i’m going to be busy this week and on vacation next week, so i don’t know when i’ll get to fixing it, but i wanted people to be aware in case the plugin gets into the library before i can submit a fix.

NullPath is now available in the library!

as i mentioned in my last post, i was on vacation all last week and just got home last night, so i haven’t gotten around to fixing Turbulence’s polyphony issues, but i’ll try and get to them as soon as i can this coming week.

Thank you very much ! I will try them today, especially Cascade, as I love function generators (and this one seems “in the spirit of” Serge modules).

ok i’m finally starting to bang my head against Turbulence’s poly problem. i thought it would be a fairly simple fix, but i’m actually struggling with it at the moment. so this actually might take me a little longer than i expected. sorry all!

quick update: i need to take another step away from Rack development for a little bit. i was just in my second car accident in 4 or 5 months. my car is potentially going to be totalled and my already constant anxiety is at an all time high, so i need to cut back on some stuff and focus on what needs my attention the most.

this means Turbulence’s polyphony will continue to not work until i can come back to work on it. sorry if anyone was waiting on that, but it’s going to be a little while i think.

So sorry to hear about this car accident. Sometimes owning and operating a vehicle is a stressful thing. I hope everything goes well for you and this stress will pass and life can continue on a less rocky path.

Just know there are many who see your talents and value you. When you create these fun tools I see your passion. I wish you peace and don’t give a thought to this place until it works for you.
