No Sound on MacBook Air

I’ve just joined and downloaded VCV.
Have watched a number of videos and gone through the manual.
I cannot get any sound using a VCO, VCA and Audio Output.
I’m using a MacBook Air with Mojave and have selected Core Audio on the output module.
Any suggestions?

Yes, good idea.

I didn’t realise there was a further setting not mentioned in the manual. The second line on the black screen of the Audio 8 or Audio 16 modules allowed for selection of the the built in Apple output.
