No Input from Expert Sleepers ES-8

Hi community, I just got expert sleepers ES-8 to connect my modular with VCV 2 but I do not receive any signal inside VCV. Bitwig works super fine. Any advise?

MacOS Monterey 12.1 Mac Mini M1

Make sure Rack has permission to access the microphone.

System preferences > Security & privacy > Privacy > Microphone

Wow, so in newer macOS versions “microphone” is synonymous with “all audio input” where security is concerned? That should trip up a lot of audio users…
