Hi everyone, I’m trying to record external audio through my NI audio4 soundcard. Rack shows me the soundcard on the audio module but was not able to give me back the input. The soundcard works fine with Audacity, both input and output. Can anyone help me? Thanks a lot.
I’m on macOS 10.14.6 Mojave, Rack version is 1.1.6
Maybe try and check in the Mac’s audio settings, whether the inputs and outputs of that audio interface are in one interface or two. In Sierra they introduced a bug, whereby in/out are two different interfaces, which means that in order to use both input and output in one interface, you have to make an aggregate device that gathers both. Annoying but it works fine.
