Is there any documentation for the Triad 2 sequencer?
I was just trying it out a bit and it seems to be based on some alien logic, interleaving notes that had been placed in sequencer steps… or something? It’s rather beyond me. I have no idea what the controls mean. Web searching turned up nothing except sniffing through the source code (which… yeah, I could, but I don’t care that much).
What started me off on this was encountering a patch where a high-rate clock is going into the trig input at left of a Triad 2 sequencer, but the notes are changing significantly slower than the incoming clock (?) with no apparent control for clock division or any other clock input that could cause any interference patterns, and somehow the sequence is pausing for some number of these seemingly divided clock pulses (??) also without any signal coming in to make it do that, and if I change the clock tempo, there isn’t a linear slowdown in the sequence (???) but rather some sort of unpredictable almost sync type effect (but without another clock to sync to). The relationship between inputs and outputs is, at present, inscrutable. So I thought, OK, let me try to make a simple reproducer… and the behavior was entirely different. At which point… I’m putting it down temporarily.
