Pure sturm und drang but sure, I’d go see it live if given the opportunity! Like a more tasteful yet more gargantuan version of Chromeo’s TONTO-alike.
My sadness is that it’ll probably very rarely be patched into anything but a standard poly/subtractive configuration. That said, Zimmer is [or at least his team collectively are] pretty serious about synthesis–see the co-design process on u-he Zebra 2 HZ–so I hope to be proven wrong!

Yep, I don’t think there are many more sounds to be had from standard analogue modules just by having a silly number of them. I think he mainly uses software anyway. Pretty funny in one video I saw where he was demonstrating a soft synth with an absolute wall of Moog modular behind him.
