Is there a midi module which features midi delay compensation?
Im using an external sequencer which is sequencing both vcvrack and external hardwware. the issue is if I have larger audio buffer sizes, then the external hardware is out of sync, due to the audio input lag.
one way around this is to delay ALL midi signal… obviously this could be done with signal delay modules, but if using a lot of midi it becomes messy very quickly. I guess an alternative approach, is to delay the generated vcv audio signal, a tad messy but perhap cleaner…
so really, Im thinking a variaion on the standard midi modules that just adds a configurable delay.
how are others handling this?
