his work has been a favorite of mine lately, and a source of great inspiration too.
First of all, I’d recommend taking a look at his master’s thesis,Work in sound and pattern synthesis. You can go directly to Part 4, where he talks about his work on micro-temporal structures.
Other than that, from your link I can hear:

FM for the main synth voice, possibly with the modulation index being shaped by a separate envelope.

An echo effect on the tail of each note, perhaps using a send/return setup with the feedback or mix being modulated by another envelope.

A burst trigger generator for the drums, producing multiple hits within a single beat.

Changing the drum sample/voice between those hits; this could perhaps be achieved with a Bernoulli gate or some other switching.

Slow changing of parameters throughout the track, with a veeery slow lfo or s&h every few bars.
I hope these ideas spark some inspiration in your exploration; I find that trying to emulate the style of artists we like is a great way to hone our skills as musicians and producers and evolve our own personal style. Happy patching!
