Macro oscillator plaits lpg length

Hi! Just starting my journey with vcv rack, but have been using modular stuff for a few years. My question, on the hardware version of plaits (aka macro oscillator in this case) you hold the first module button and then simultaneously move either the timbre or morph knobs to mess with the lpg and built in envelope. How do you accomplish this with the vcv rack version?

Thanks in advance!

Right click the module - there’s a menu entry to switch the knobs functions. Or use one of the alternative modules based on plaits which have the lpg control as separate knobs on the panel (look for Atelier, SurgeXT Twist VCO in the library)

And the knobs turn blue :

Thanks!!

Does anyone perhaps know of a way to modulate the gate decay on Macro oscillator 2?

I think they can be mapped with umap and patchmaster.

Yes this works.

Cool. Thanks so much!

A simpler solution is the Palette module. It is Plaits with the LPG broken out and directly CV-accessible.

Yeah you’re right, thanks. I just dialed in a nice sound into Macro Oscillator 2, and could not recreate it on any other clones. But thanks anyway.

Funes from Sanguine Modules also offers the LPG controls on the Faceplate at all times, along with the last 1.2 firmware revision, its new models and its ability to load and use custom data.

CV control for gate parameters control may be forthcoming via an expander
