Looking for sequencer that lets you control the start step

As a Rack noob I only have a very modest overview of the many modules out there. I am looking for a sequencer that allows me to pick both the starting step and end step, either by random or by CV. The ability to enter notes instead of decimal numbers would also be helpful.

ML Modules sequencers have Min and Max to set the start and end steps

Bogaudio PGMR lets you select the start step by sending a trigger.
