This is so cool! I love his Youtube channel!

Hopefully big business won’t swallow him now.

Omg, this is so cheesy…
Even in recent years synth bands did not that well, although it is a pretty catchy song :frowning:

I thought it was a cover of “Smalltown Boy by Bronski beat” :grinning:

Guitarist using a bow like Jimmy Page lol

He finished last…

Haha I remember these Belgian guys, when you listen to the lyrics it’s 100% eurovision trolling!

Didn’t remember the big unpatched moog900 tho, I wonder if it was part of the cheesy ironic vibe to showcase a 14 years old modular synth at the of poly synth and the down of digital pop.

I wonder how much trolling there was Sam’s presence and song writting…looking at the song credits there are 3 additional song writers (Julie Aagaard - Lasse Midtsian Nymann - Thomas Stengaard) All of them are regular eurovision writers for the last 3 years (if you wonder why all eurovision song sound the same) so he might not have the freedom he needed.

Interesting interview, apparently BBC made a writing camp for the Eurovision auditions. And apparently Sam became a dad just a few weeks ago!! Wow, imagine trying to throw a Eurovision act together with that happening at the same time.
