I posted a request in the Forum Feedback - I asked if the solved option could be disabled in the Music & Patches category. Lo and behold - Andrew quickly responded and made the change!

Disable "Solved" plugin for Music & Patches

Can the Discourse Solved plugin be disabled for the Music & Patches category? Based on the rules for the category, it makes no sense to post a question there. It is irritating that we are encouraged to select an answer every time we want to add a post to our own personal music/patches thread.
