Oh yes, what a surprise. It’s good that you’re healthy again. I’m looking forward to trying out your modules. I’m also pleased that your layout, skin and buttons look so nice. That’s what I call design. Many thanks.

Hi all,

I didn’t expect that my modules are released that fast, so I hadn’t really time to promote it here  But finally it happened! Thanks for your support and have fun!

On bugs or suggestions just write me here or mail me

Have a nice weekend,

Patrick

Whoa, huge congratulations on the release - and thank you for this great set of modules! Just stopped by, like I occasionally do, checking ā€œhmmm, let’s see if there’s something new and interesting in the libraryā€, and was gobsmacked when I suddenly saw Lindenberg Research right at the top  … Wishing you all the best! :sparkles:

new see your plugingn back. but when you realese thefree versions one of those. then like you have in before vcv 2.0 realese. sir. please please please

Is it really that unreasonable to ask for $20?

no. no. but i i cannot do online payments., do be be magd of me. i used lots off your stuff in before vcv 2 realese

No, it is not unreasonable. It is just a little sad to see a series of modules once free now become paywall. Why don’t do something like Leonardo/Vult did? A free stock and a pay stock with extra modules in it.

Is THIS really that unreasonable rather than slam everything behind a paywall? :unamused:

Not unreasonable but we’re not entitled to them and there are plenty of modules which don’t offer free versions. Unless the code is published under a free license I don’t think it should be surprising if one day it is not free cost. It’s not an unusual business model to offer something for free at first and then to charge for it.

I agree with @SkwareUawe. But it is what it is. Kinda sucks to be honest, cause I liked this collection. And now it costs like about a half of my monthly salary, not even kidding. BUT that’s not for me to decide what should be free and what cost what. Especially given the fact that most of the people here are americans or they live in EU and to them 20$ is a spare change. So yeah, it is what it is

The thing is… this (high quality!) suite of modules was evidently quite painstakingly brought to V2, with huge attention to detail and a really really prolonged development cycle because of health problems and so on. Also being a developer myself, and having also worked in a lot of creative projects with publication dates, yada yada, I can only imagine the relief to finally get these out the door, after all the troubles, and them being in a finished state, beautiful, and functioning as intended.

I fully understand the wishes to have a parallel free suite of these (the ā€œVult approachā€ mentioned above), and all that - and yet, knowing those aspects of these modules’ development history and how great it must be to finally have them finished and available for purchase… it feels kinda bad strongly implying that there should still be more, more, parallel versions of these for free use, etc, as if this somehow wasn’t enough already.

Hey, I love free stuff, too. At the same time, I think it’s absolutely 100% reasonable to release these like they now are, and to ask for $20 for them now that they are out there.
