Thanks to @netboy3, VCO3340 has finally been ported to Rack 1.x
Thank you both. Polyphonic
Not yet but - time allowing - Iâll see what I can do. VCO3340 is optimized for sound quality rather than minimizing CPU load at the expense of sound quality (for instance it does sinc resampling) so CPU load might become an issue.
btw, the Voyetra-8 synthesizer used the 3340 Curtis VCO, and used SSM 2044 VCFs.
Thatâs too bad - west coast is pretty cool. You might try our waveshaper (âShaperâ). It doesnât have the vintage emulations that west coast does, but it does have a lot more features. Maybe you will like it. The instruction manual is a pretty good read: https://github.com/squinkylabs/SquinkyVCV/blob/master/docs/shaper.md
Our filter âStairwayâ might be a good combination? Stairway steals a lot of ideas from Oberheim, Moog, Mutable, and Rossum. Even if you donât have time to try the module, the manual is full of technical tidbits and links to historic info. https://github.com/squinkylabs/SquinkyVCV/blob/master/docs/filter.md
Already tried it many months ago. Itâs pretty good. My most used distortions are CW disto and Vult Debriatus, but I do mess around with Shaper from time to time. Actually Iâve just started to make more use of your modular mixer. Itâs good. (also this is a bit of a necro post).
I disagree. It was brought back to life by the 1.0 port of VCO-3340. Itâs true I may have commented on an old comment of yours (without realizing it), but the post was quite alive by then.
Hey, Iâm not complaining, I need the social interaction.
haha - me too!
What about a 2.0 release?
Valley Feline is a matching IR301 Roland filter emulation you canât beat that SH-101 sound
