I’m so curious.
For that matter, what are some of the stand out Meta Module modules available VCV Rack or not?
Thanks,
Greg

The whole list is here. Standouts include Bogaudio, Befaco, Geodesics, Nano, and Cloned Instruments (MI). MetaModule | Plugins
I would say there are a few categories / use cases to consider.
There is the group of clones which make the MM a huge value out of the box, often I’ll run the MM with just one of these loaded. example, I have a clouds but found I didn’t always want to use it so I just bring it up on the MM when I feel like it. 4ms Mutable Instruments Befaco Nano NLC Allieway ( Mannequins Cold Mac )
There are the VCV / Meta unique modules that don’t have a direct counter part in hardware. For me these are really what make it great because devs can come up with some stuff that might not be as commercially viable or expensive to develop and we get the benefit of using them both on hard and software: CV funk Venom Noi Geodisics Valley
and then finally the big bundles of basics and utils you can never have enough of but also can be much less glamorous to fill your rack with. Talking about basic osc’s, logics, sequential sequencers… VCA Bog Audio - this one is huge Count modula. Hetrick CV - great becaue taking a phase based approach Putting Venom here to because they make such great all around interesting modules.
Anyway on another thread I posed the question why it hasn’t taken off as much as I thought it would have and the response was because maybe a lot of poeple have an es-9 which I also have and that’s a totally fair and most likely accurate assement but I have to say I like to just load some individual plugins into it and use them separately depending on what I am feeling like doing. This frees up channels on the es-9 and keeps my fingers twiddling on the rack which is nice.
There is a nice module finder tool that someone created for anyone that is interested:
