Yes, Complex Simpler has no ability to save recorded audio into the patch, and no mechanism for saving it out automatically. The module’s menu has a “Save…” option, but it’s on you to actually use it and pick the location and so forth.
As far as I know, no module saves recorded audio into a patch, because the size limits from Rack on saving data in a patch would make that impossible. I could easily be wrong about that, and would love to be corrected.
You could rig up some automation with BASICally and the Memory System modules to periodically save out the contents to WAV files. Not trivial, but doable, I believe.
There may be other ways to achieve this as well; I only mention this because I wrote these modules and am pretty certain it would mostly do what you want (though I don’t know precisely what you want, sooo…).

Actually Sickozell samplers save with the patch, never worry about where the sample is or sending to a friend to load, its already there. and the right click let’s you also disable the feature if that works best for you
