I’m trying to recreate Ron Berry’s trumpet patch: description, sound from 0:25.
My attempt: screenshot, sound, patch file (Rack 1, only free modules).
But his version sounds more gritty and “windy” in a way that mine doesn’t. And the feedback in my patch is as high as possible, pushing it any higher overloads the limiter and gives a more squarewave sound, which also doesn’t sound right.
What am I missing?
