Frequency Domain...

is now open source!!

Yes, the planets aligned, beers were consumed and it has happened.

The repository is opened and the required info sent to the vcv build gods, so we will see what happens

woohoo! Thanks @almostEric ! I am missing those, so happy an arm build isn’t too far away.

Awesome, thanks @almostEric!

Forgot to make the repository public?

For various silly reasons, the updated frequency domain is still not in the library. I just pushed an update that hopefully will make it past the vcv overlords’ build system.

With it, a couple new features are introduced.

On all the modules with grids, pressing the shift key will lock the band axis, so it is easier to draw straight lines (this has also been done in a Frozen Wasteland update that’s also been pushed)

But what’s really cool is Delayed Reaction will get a couple of pretty cool (I think) features.

  1. A panning grid has been added so you can position each band of the delay in the stereo field.
  2. There is now a reverse mode. Turns out reverse spectral delay sounds really interesting!

No idea when y’all will see it though

@almostEric whoa! super duper news:) big thank you!

btw why not compiling a nightly build for us if the vcv official release gods are sleeping?!

I don’t have a mac/arm or linux machine so I can’t really do builds for all the different distros.

The source code is now open source, so you can do a local build.

Best I can do, atm
