Hi guys. Not sure if this has been covered but I finally got my ES-8 working nicely with Ableton and VCV 2 VST and I thought I’d make this post showing the settings I’m using in the hope that it might help someone out. I’m running Windows 10 so dual soundcards is a pain and wasn’t working for me so I bought a Behringer UMC 1820 soundcard with ADAT to cheaply test if I could get this to work. Not sure if this will work for others but is working well enough for my needs. I can now send 8 channels of CV from VCV direct to my modular and 4 channels back into VCV for further processing/recording all inside Ableton. See pics, basic VCV setup, Ableton routings and finally all my lights flashing on the ES-8.
