My youngest daughter works in a small cinema. Later this month they’ll be showing “Delia Derbyshire: The Myths and Legendary Tapes”, and preceded by a live electronic performance by a local band (fortunately we don’t have any local cases of coronavirus).

I have heard/read about this film from Electronic Sounds Magazine [UK], is it going to get a general release all over the world or is it just going to be at this one event. Is a DVD issue going to happen? So many questions, for what looks like a wonderful film about a true genius.

What a terrific photograph! I’m glad to see her getting more recognition, I’d never seen that visually creative side of her, I’m really looking forward to getting to see that film. I’ve had a youtube video “The Delian Mode” open for several days that I’ve been meaning to watch.
When I got to college in the US I used to watch old dr who episodes with an australian friend of mine, he was the one who pointed Derbyshire out to me. That little cinema looks fantastic, I miss having a place like that nearby. Thanks for sharing.
