Defining a byte via its value in binary or hex

Still working on a stuff to interface in a nice way Launch control XL.

I’m looking for a module with witch I could define 8 bits, or one byte, and send the result to one of the MIDI module (VCV CV CC I suppose) to the external device. so far I haven’t found anything easy to use. Any idea?

This looks like it would do it? Actually, there may be modules in the series that are even closer…
