No, 17EDO a bit exotic even for me just yet. This only does 24Tet and Just Intonation. So it’s like microtonal training wheels - just a few flavor notes - rather than a full featured microtonal exploration.

The way that it works is it analyzes the input chord and root, and then inserts new tones in between that align with harmonics of the root note. It has a scoring function that gives bonuses to harmonics and penalties to adding notes too close together etc. Based on how it catagorizes the input chord it tries to avoid ugly harmonics. When you don’t provide a root note, you can use the root knob to pick between the 2-4 possibilities (depends on the chord type etc if there’s ambiguity).

Here is another patch with Mirage. Also you can see a peek at Crossroads, which is a 16-step gate sequencer with shiftable beats.

The thing in development in the middle is going to be called Drifts, it is a 4-layer clock-synced oscillator, you can set the clock ratio and window in semitones for each layer, with morphable waveshapes. So this ‘song’ is just me clicking on/off layers and seeing the quantization results in Mirage. The secret sauce is probably Crossroads, as the offset rhythm section can get really groovy.

It’s just producing different linked chaotic CV sources. So I has different 0…10V output signals and also the wind has direction so its in -5…5V range, and then it has a trigger output for the seeds.

The patch was a test patch that’s using all of the modules in a new premium collection I am developing, plus some CV funk free modules (Alloy, Ouros), and it has Sapphire Galaxy at the end for reverb. (also pachde’s Fancy for the visual look).

NEED IT considering how ridiculous your last collection was I have to pick this one up soon! Maybe this will come in July so it doesn’t wait so long? But a lot certainly has piled up since the last Black Friday sale… maybe I’ll wait on the voxglitch stuff a bit longer since it’s kinda complex inside and things like your new premium collection are more immediate and prime for instant experimentation
