Count Modula Matrix Mixer: can't get any output

I watched this new video from Omri Cohen about matrix mixers, and I got very interested in some of the techniques he showed.

I tried using Matrix Mixer by @CountModula with version 2.5.0 of the Count Modula plugin, but I ran into some problems.

  1. When I first instantiate the module in my patch, all the knobs are turned to -100% (all the way counterclockwise).
  2. There is never any output from the output ports. They stay at 0V no matter what I do. This problem persists even if I manually reset the module (right-click, choose Initialize) and then set the knobs away from zero.

I can reproduce this behavior on two different systems:

  1. Debian Linux running VCV Rack 2.6.0.
  2. Windows 11 running VCV Rack 2.5.2.

Does anyone else see the same problem? Clearly, Omri didn’t have any problems getting it to work.

Never mind, I answered my own question!

You have to turn up the LEVEL knob at the bottom. I totally missed that! Apart from making myself look silly, I hope someone else benefits from this post.
