+1 Would also be curious to hear about what affordable egpu options (for vcv) look like.

Also curious about the VCV performance benefits beyond being able to turn up the frame rate without thermal throttling.

I have a radeon 580 that was purchased from apple directly when they were selling it as the external graphics development kit 3 years ago, along with a vive bundle. the enclosure is from sonnet, and came with the card.

apple appears to sell many different options on their site.
