There is now a new expander for CheeseGrater in the library, which adds all the functionality that you would expect from a fully featured granular sampler.
You can now control the buffer size, the position in the sample and the scanning speed (forwards and backwards), apply random pitch per grain (quantizable to octaves or octaves and fifths) and freeze the current scanning position with a pause button and input.
If you are looking for a fully featured granular sampler module in VCV Rack this is it now, and I can 100% recommend getting the Path Set: Grains plugin!
