Hi folks, haven’t been here for a while!
I want to ask for the help with testing of the new module. It uses OpenGL, and I haven’t see many modules that rely on it, so don’t really know how it will behave on various platforms.
Currently it’s called Frequency Analyzer. It’s a simple frequency analyzer with vintage feel - VFD display etc.
Prerelease artifacts are available here: Release Cella v2.10.0 preview (2026-07-12) · victorkashirin/CellaVCV · GitHub
Works fine on mac arm, but curious how it behaves on win/linux. Would greatly appreciate if someone could give it a try!

The adjustments available in the menu are all pretty handy. The only thing I miss is a non-segmented meter option.
Dots goes in the wrong direction.
Continuous meters contain less “background noise” than either dots or segments.

Thanks for testing. Yes, though it adds to GPU load, especially with Bloom on

With OpenGL it should be possible, any preferences/references?

Options for horizontal or vertical scroll (not redraw).
Adjustable speed / gain.
Extra points for a selection of colours?
