Can't select separate audio interface in the VST: will be enabled in later update!

Here’s the thread I am referring to, where Andrew himself tells me this should be possible:

Hi. The combination of these different items on the rack 2.0 dev forum sounds like an absolute dream come true, so I just wanted to check if they will also be true in combination: Will I be able to use VCV as a vst within my DAW, and then use one (main, audio out) soundcard for my DAW, and a second (dc-coupled, cv-out/in) soundcard from the rack vst, while Rack and the DAW exchange midi and sound without using a soundcard, all of this on a Windows 10 machine? Am I ahead of myself?
