I’d love to try the free version of VCV Rack, but I can’t install it on my Macbook Air M1. I do have Rosetta 2 installed, and I tried installing versions 2.0.4., 2.2.0., 2.2.3., 2.3.0. - both arm64 and x64 installers and all of them just give me the error: The installation failed. Just like in the image below. Is there any advice on what I can do, am I missing some basic step? Thanks!
Do you have any security software installed? Is your HOME/user directory on Google Drive/OneDrive/DropBox or the like? You should write to support@vcvrack.com
Hi Lars, thanks for the pointers. I don’t have any security software installed and my home directory is in a default place on local hard drive. I think I’ll write to the support as suggested.
