Can VCV (via VST) send CV within MAX?

I’m getting close to pulling the trigger on VCV Pro. Wondering in the meantime…

Could I drop a VST instance into a MAX patch, then send CV from the VCV/VST to other MAX objects? (presumably through VCV’s Audio 2/8/16 module)

Or would I only be able to send MIDI from the VST via VCV’s CV to MIDI module?

Likely: no.

I’d expect this to use normalize audio and not true “CV” values.

Yes, that works. In MAX 8.3.1 you can only have 16 audio outputs from the VCV VST.
