Bug Snapper - Music

Hi!

I just released my new and second album, Bloom. Last year I started experimenting with VCV Rack and in a short period time I’d started composing and creating this album, which I played live at the Maia Biennal of Arts in July. That show has been recorded and is available here: https://youtu.be/HPdiREXLOPY.

Bloom is available on Bandcamp and on all streaming services. It contains three long semi-improvised compositions. There are two bonus tracks for those who buy it on CD or digital format.

Here are some print screens of the album’s patches:

I’ll be updating this thread when I release more VCV Rack based music.

Cheers

Really like this, great drone, kosmische epicness.

Thank you very much! It’s nice to have this feedback from a fellow VCV Rack user / player

I forgot to share this here. It’s a installation / live performance I, until now, presented a couple of times. Synths emulating sounds of nature and, near the end, recordings of nature and animals transformed into unrecognizable textures and noises.

I used the VCV Host module a couple of times, but everything else here is generated and processed with “regular” VCV modules.

The patch for this is the biggest VCV patch I ever made, pushing my laptop to its limit even with the lowest frame rate possible and other settings changed to save CPU.

I’ve got some CD’s left on sale, btw
