I was inspired by Springmute’s VCV patch on Patchstorage that emulated Atari Pong in single player mode. I decided to take a stab at creating an emulation of Atari Breakout. It is very primitive
- Oriented horizontally instead of vertically
- Only one row of bricks
- Bricks don’t advance (though they could with added logic)
I liked Springmute’s music and sound effects, so I reused that portion of his patch in Breakthrough. Everything else I created from scratch using mostly Venom modules. I felt it was important to use only analog style modules. No programming modules were used.
