Blippoo Box by Rob Hordijk

Thank you and sorry to miss that part!

I found some interesting info on Rob Hordijk’s Blippoo Box. The 2018 edition (version 3?) is being reissued by a company called Biyiblip.

Read the video description for more info.

A collection of links for the company is here: biyiblip | Instagram, Facebook | Linktree

The manual for the reissue can be found at BLIPPOO BOX USER MANUAL - Google Drive

They claim it is a faithful reissue - it sounds good to my ears.

I wondered about the legitimacy of Biyiblip, and then I found the following from this reddit post

I looked at the Blippoo Box flow chart from the Biyiblip manual, and it was the easiest to understand yet, but was missing the data inputs to the Runglers, and had very fine print. I edited the image, adding the Rungler data inputs, and making many of the labels easier to read. Here it is:

EDIT - Fixed the flowchart

Yes, Biyi is definitely legit … I am following his work since a while. There was (maybe still is) some drama around unauthorized Benjolin clones which got me interested in what it’s all about and eventually lead me to research the work of Rob Hordijk which in turn lead me to Biyi’s work/story.

Biyi created a new variant of the Blippo/Benjolin scheme called Blippulator. I am not exactly a fan of the naming and also the UI is not really my thing, but the sound of it is very convincing!

I really love this patch. I played for hours with it without even noticing how much time I spent with the patch…

I am so excited about Vlippoo release. Any news about the release date? Is it still planned for March 2026?

I still have a glimmer of hope, but it is looking doubtful. The code and documentation for the entire Choas Boxes plugin is ready for release. But the coordination with VCV has hit a snag. I was going to wait a couple more days, and then post a delay announcement on my development thread.
