Wow that was fast. Ver 2.1.1 is working perfectly now. Thank you so much ![]()

I’ve read Cardinal licencing, and it only
require the same GPL3+ for allowing porting.
non 3+ are not allowed.
I use both Vcv and Cardinal and would love to play Crust
on Cardinal too.
I hope Vcv will one day run on Arm/Raspbian like Cardi do
in future. Not everyone can get a 4ms module.
Are there other licencing options that would allow you to keep proprietary/closed source
on Pizza (Rack) modules with GPL3+, so that you could port them to Cardinal too???
I played Crust so much in VcV that I’m considering buying the Eurorack version…
So congrats on the Vcv port!!!
Maybe GrandPa could make it?? Or Thyme???
I’m no Licencing expert but those CC-GPL reciprocal restrictions are nonsense…
it only limit the spread of your creation…
PS: As far as I know, Cardinal has zero future plans to change the licencing.
New update for the Bastl Pizza plugin ![]()
v2.2.0
- added Basil module
- fixed some issues with Pizza using CTRL
Basil: Flexible Stereo Space Delay
Basil is a compact, yet flexible, digital stereo delay module built on the Bastl Pizza platform. It offers clean delay, as well as lo-fi flavors, and its Space section opens the doors to exploration far beyond simple delay territory. The Basil delay buffer modulates really well, allowing to recreate most classic time-based effects, such as chorus, flanger, vibrato, pitch shifter, reverb, and stereo widener, among others, and navigate between them with just a few performative gestures.
