Auldwav Patches

Opening up my artist thread with my first Rack 2 patch video. Constructive feedback and/or gratuitous compliments welcome! :v:

The patch is based on the default template. I added some more modules (delay, reverb, EQ, compressor, etc.) and tweaked a few things. But it’s a pretty simple patch that’s super fun to play. The main way of playing the patch is to use crtl R on your computer keyboard to randomize the Mutes module, which takes its inputs from the 3 voices as well as 4 random CVs used to modulate the voices. This helps bring a simple 4 note arpeggio to life!

I released a performance of this patch on my SoundCloud mvt3 by Auldwav

My first patch from scratch!

I tried to use only VCV modules if possible (the only module that is not VCV is Fade by Count Modula). The result is a Steve Roach style long-form modular synth jam. :v:

Enjoyable! Almost some frippertronics sounds in there, very nice.

Thanks Lars

New patch up on YouTube. This generative patch uses mostly VCV modules (free and premium) with the exception of Fade by Count Modula, Chromakey by DanT, and Color Panel by Alikins.
