Audio/8/16 not detecting my M-track duo or any other input source. Output works fine.

Trying to run a mic through effects modules and back out. I tried Directsound and WASAPI and the device won’t show up no matter the order I connect or power things on. Windows 10. V 2.5.2

You probably tried this, but why don’t you use ASIO as your interface driver? I assume you installed the M-audio drivers. Or use ASIO4All

If it’s a ancient m-audio, there may be no native ASIO driver. I used to use a 20 year old m-audio card. Happy I now have a Steinberg UR22C. It works much better with VCV.
