I just updated my modules, got the “you must restart” message, clicked on it, and it restarted all by itself.
It never used to do that did it? I’m sure I had to restart it myself. Is that a new feature?
(Just to prove you can never please all the people all the time, I used to leave my updates until I’d finished noodling, do the update and then shut it down. Now it comes back, so I’ll have to change my workflow. )
I noticed that too recently! This must be new in VCV Rack 2.6.3? It definitely wasn’t that way in 2.5.2. It is a nice improvement to no longer manually restart Rack.
I looked at the change log but I don’t see anything about this, so it would probably take a dive into the GitHub commit history to figure this out.
