I’ve created one of the new OpenAI GPTs that might help in panel design and module coding. One of the main things I’ve been trying to get it to do, Dalle 3-wise, is to always generate panels in the front-on orthogonal view. It still doesn’t play ball every time though

This is not a criticism, but it still looks like it would need some major photoshop surgery. The ports and knobs would have to be extracted, and the 3D-ness of the knobs would make them quite difficult to get to rotate and look right, plus they are all slightly different angles and colours. But if someone did make this into a VCV module, it would be amazing… I wonder what the module would do?
We just need one module to morph through all of those! Some kind of organic oscillator with floral kaleidoscope in the center.

I wonder if you could upload the image back to GPT-4 and say “remove all circular things from this image”

My wild notion is this is a mixer/recorder/ processor. For CV it could do mathy things and for triggers it could do logic things and for audio it could do filtering and granular processing. Basically saves a loop of 2 incoming streams of voltage and modulates and processes them, the center knob would shorten lengthen and after 12 o’clock would add filtered delay.
