As the title states, the 4ms modules won’t update. I go through the regular update process, but 4ms is still there when I restart. I’ve tried reinstalling the modules to no avail and even contacted the developer. He suggested posting on here.
Thanks for the reply Yeager. I reckon it must be the latest as I deleted it and reinstalled just yesterday. It’s not even showing up in the library, so I can’t check.
I’m currently using VCV 2.5.2 as the latest versions were too much for my machine. That said the same thing happens in 2.6.
“Rack 2 System Requirements
• Windows 7+, macOS 10.9+, or Linux (such as Ubuntu 16.04+)
• CPU: Intel/AMD 64-bit processor (x64) supporting SSE4.2 (2011 or later), or Apple M1 (ARM64) or higher
• Graphics: Dedicated Nvidia/AMD graphics card from 2013 or later with recent driver update
◦ Integrated (non-dedicated) graphics such as Intel HD are not recommended and may cause significantly increased CPU usage.
• Memory: 1 GB
• Disk space: 1 GB”
The current System Requirements for Rack 2.6.6 says otherwise.
Anyways, I’m having the same problem in macOS Mojave 10.14.6. Note that the issue only occurs with the main 4msCompany bundle, the 4ms-XOXDrums and 4ms-ProducerPack bundles install just fine. Also note that the only incompatible installer in the whole Rack Library at the moment is the 4msCompany bundle, so something must be wrong there. The latest 4msCompany bundle installer that works in my system is version 2.0.15, hope that helps sorting it out.
