2 or more viewports onto the Rack?

Has anyone ever thought of splitting the main Rack window (RackWicket) to get 2 or more viewports onto the Rack?

So that you could emulate skiffs and save separate parts of a patch?

No, just for being able to view/edit parts of a large patch that lie far apart.

For saving parts of a patch, I would use Stoermelder Strip.

Yes, I tried it.
I did a prototype for „pop-out“ dialogs of specified modules (by expander). I did get it working but all framebuffer-widgets are directly tied to Rack‘s window which caused a mess of problems.
