Life long guitar player in local metal scene. Nowadays getting more into ambient synth stuff, and just creating my own stuff at home. M83 & Lorn inspired. The song Acid Rain by Lorn has a legit synth sound in it, and of all synth vsts that I own, VCV Rack was the only one that could actually recreate its sound perfectly using MockbaModular Oscillators, Hora filter and Vult saturator. Now all that’s left is learning the intricacies of Rack and learning how to compose music in that genre. Good luck to me.
