Somnambulist Stroll - Ambient piece made in VCV Rack using Rack and the Arturia MicroFreak
The two main oscillators here are one Bleak and one Basal. Additionally, Prism Rainbow and Clouds add textured versions of those voices back into the mix. The MicroFreak adds textures and fills out some of the empty space. Three of the voices are mixed together and run through a Bogaudio PEQ-14 for even more multi-band filtering.

I got a 4MS Ensemble yesterday for Christmas. I spent most of the day having fun with it and Rack working together. I made this piece at the end of the day using the Ensemble and the Prism Rainbow as the voices with some Karplus-Strong stuff via the FM-OP for texture and more color.

I have a new album out. 10 ambient piano tracks. Most of the piano sounds came from a SoundLabs VST for the sake of consistency but I did use my own sound design skills to create a few of them. Other than that, everything on the album is Rack Ambient Piano #1-10 | Zen Wires

I’ve been putting together a eurorack system over the past six months and this is the first album made up of my hybrid environment.
