So you are really asking… will VCV keep the 1.0 library running after 2.0 is released. Right?

yes, but not necessarily the library , at least a way to download the modules and the rack 1 itself

Rack itself and all the previous versions (back to 0.3) are at listing directory /downloads
That doesn’t include extra plugins.
