I’m a big AudioThing fan, so I bought their new synth June, even though I’m sitting next to a Roland Juno60 on my keyboard stand.
I was really impressed with what they’ve done. I don’t know if they were modeling the Juno 60 at the circuit level, but it sounds great. Juno-60-esque but really who cares? It is it’s own thing, and the things AudioThing added - a rearrangeable group of 3 “stomp boxes”
I dropped it in Rack, and hooked it to an Eventide Black Hole plugin for reverb and Eventide Ultratap, and it turned into something wild.
If you’re going to use Host in VCVRack, try some of their stuff out. My all-time favorite is the Wire Recorder, where they model the imperfections in the 1940s vintage wire recorders, but also as a delay. For when only vintage cruddy sound will do.
