=== very cool patch challenge, edition 43 ===

Man! That’s a good question! IMO, it’s four soudsources in one module. On the other hand, any such module in a monosynth is mentioned as a single VCO… Anyway, I’m pretty sure that nobody will blame you for using this module

I’m going for Woldemar too , it should be alright  after all, it’s just one module :slightly_smiling_face: I recorded my patch once already, but i will make a better version tonight, and post it asap

My entry to the VCP-43. I sometimes find it fun to try and get the most interesting sounds from a small number of modules anyway.

Sorry that the image froze :grimacing: but it’s the best take i could get ! The patch consists of 1 Woldemar going to a Neo Filter, Then i have Plateau and Sangster as sends  Looks like @heapdump is at honor in this patch ! thank for your amazing sounding modules  Here is the video, and the patch :

VCP_43_olival.vcv (36.2 KB)

PS: To start to play, unmute the mixer, and start mixing waveforms on Woldemar , also sometimes the patch will be bugged, and not play at all (and the scopes will be all blue) just reloading the patch works for me.

Oh! Man! I like this idea of multi dephased sequence! Great use of polyphony here!

Indeed! Very simple. Good choice of modules. Southpole modules have still to be import from the github page?

Another fun challenge… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XxYWU_1WGgQ https://patchstorage.com/vcp-43-2/

My very cool patch w43: Ride the Pony

You can find the patch at: https://patchstorage.com/ride-the-pony-vcp43/

<3 these exercises. Amazed at how easily I just add sources usually, one can do really amazing sounds without that many sources.

If you like it & use any part, I would be extremly happy to hear it.:skull:

Finally rapped my hands around something usable (OUFTI) … thanks a lot, I love this challenging challenge

I only use the Woldemar VCO from @heapdump

I have used Basal as my sound source and tried to create a Terry Riley-esque piece with movement coming from the shifting phase of 8FO and Caudal to alter filters with a chance element coming from two phases of 8FO going straight into Quantum.

yes, here is the thread with the links. https://github.com/gbrandt1/southpole-vcvrack/issues/36#

Here’s a link to my VCP-43 video!

Big star is ZZC Phaseque. It’s clocked by the ZZC Phase clock, which gets it’s frequency from a bunch of differently timed clocks (from Clocked) fed through a VCV 4:1 router.

Main thing I ‘play’ during the performance is the notes in the VCV Rack quantizer.

Fun thing: You can change the Phaseque sequencer to generate polyphonic output, and it changes the sound a lot. The 8-voice poly mode plays each note on a different voice, round robin style. I didn’t do that in this video (because it felt like cheating), but you can try it if you download the patch. And if you have Phaseque.

This sounds cool! I like the little glitchy bits. Maybe I need to buy that thing.

Interesting process. Good patch.
